SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — At least some of Walmart’s customer flow changes were in place mid-day today at one Walmart KELO.com News visited.
At the eastside Walmart on East Arrowhead Parkway, there was one way in and one way out of the store, with police tape and cones showing the way.
Yesterday, Walmart said they would limiting or throttling the number of people into the store at any one time. KELO.com News observed that it appeared people were coming into the store in about the same numbers as usual.
Other big-box stores like Hy-Vee have also implemented or will implement one-way traffic in the aisles, another thing Walmart said they were doing.
Menards and Target have also different recommendations and changes in the age of coronavirus. Menards doesn’t want kids under 16 in the store. Hy-Vee has implemented a “one person per cart rule” in their stores.
