SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — If you’re a commuter from Harrisburg or Tea to Sioux Falls, you’re going to need to find a different route tomorrow (Monday).
Constructions begins on another phase of improvement on Lincoln County 115 from 85th Street to just north of the LC 115/LC 106 intersection west of Harrisburg.
The road is also known as Minnesota Avenue.
The project is supposed to be finished in early November.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Starting Monday, April 6, the South Dakota Department of Transportation will resume work on Highway 115 from 85th Street to Cardinal Place just south of 271st Street (Lincoln County Highway 106).
Highway 115 will be closed to traffic. Traffic will be detoured around the project at 69th Street, Louise Ave., Lincoln County Highway 106, Interstate 29 and Lincoln County Highway 110. Access will be maintained to local traffic throughout the project.
The $18.3 million project will reconstruct 3.3 miles of Highway 115 (Minnesota Ave.) from just south of the 85th Street intersection to 0.3 miles south of the Lincoln County Highway 110 intersection. Work includes grading, structure, PCC pavement, curb & gutter, asphalt concrete pavement, storm sewer, traffic signals and lighting.
The prime contractor for this project is T&R Contracting of Sioux Falls.
The overall completion date for this project is Nov. 6, 2020.
