SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) – The Lincoln County commission approved an $82,500 consulting agreement with The Minneapolis-based Tegra Group.
The group was officially named project manager for the construction of the County’s justice center – including an expanded courthouse and jail.
Construction estimates for the project top more than $60 million.
Lincoln County currently pays Minnehaha County more than $2 million annually to house prisoners.
Construction of the Justice Center will tentatively start in the spring of 2023.
