PIERRE, S.D.(KELO.com) –The Helmsley Charitable Trust Rural Healthcare Program, South Dakota Unified Judicial System, and Avera eCARE will announce the creation of a partnership that will provide mental health expertise to law enforcement working in the field. This press event will announce the partnership and first-year funding.
The announcement will take place at 10:30 a.m. CDT on Thursday, July 30, in Pierre. Reporters are invited to attend a press conference on-site in Pierre or to join a live stream of the event.
Speakers will include Walter Panzirer, a trustee of the Helmsley Charitable Trust; Chief Justice David Gilbertson of the South Dakota Unified Justice System; Deanna Larson, CEO, Avera eCARE; and Butte County Sheriff Fred Lamphere.
