SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — It was a short but eventful Thursday police briefing.
PARKING LOT ROAD RAGE LEADS TO STAB IN THE BACK
Sioux Falls Police are investigating a road rage incident that led to a stabbing.
The incident happened about 5 p.m. Wednesday)in the 10th and Whalen area.
Police say a driver pulled into a parking lot to turn around.
Another vehicle was in the lot backing out.
There was yelling
A passenger in the car backing got out, as did the victim in the other car.
The passenger got out a pocket knife and stabbed the driver in the back.
The victim went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
PATIENT TRIES TO BURN THEIR BED
A Sioux Falls woman is charged with arson and intentional damage to property after setting fire to her bed at the Sanford Hospital.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Emily Louise Iyotte, 49, had matches on her.
The mattress was destroyed, but there was no other significant damage.
No one was hurt.
CATALYTIC CONVERTERS, GUN FROM UNLOCKED CAR STOLEN
Sioux Falls Police report a couple of catalytic converter thefts in the city yesterday (Wednesday).
In a separate incident, a crook stole a shotgun from an unlocked car.
The authorities are investigating.
