South Dakota State’s swimming and diving teams will no longer be traveling to the The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America National Invitational Championship in Cleveland, Ohio, due to travel concerns and the potential for COVID-19 exposure, the SDSU athletics department said Wednesday in a media release.
The CSCAA had already announced that no spectators would be permitted at the event due to the virus.
The event is set to start Thursday and go through Saturday.
