SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police say that 36-year-old Anthony Lee-Nicholas Pritchard shot and killed his mother, Teresa Cate.
Cate was 63.
Police say the two lived together in an apartment in the 5100 block of South Rolling Green Avenue in southwest Sioux Falls.
Detectives believe Cate was killed in the last seven to ten days. She died from a gunshot wound.
Pritchard has his first appearance in court in Lincoln County this afternoon.
He’s charged with first-degree murder.
