SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The state courts in Sioux Falls and Canton have tightened who can enter the Lincoln County and Minnehaha County Courthouses.
They say if you’re waiting on a test result, you cannot enter.
If you are under a COVID quarantine, you also cannot enter.
If you have someone in your household who has COVID or is awaiting the results of a COVID test except for surgery or travel cannot enter.
People with any COVID symptoms such as cough, temperature, loss of taste or smell cannot enter.
If someone is a litigant and is denied entry because of the above, they can reschedule their court date.
Everyone entering the courthouses must wear a mask. Judges can decide if masks are required in their courtrooms.
The rules will remain in effect until otherwise ordered by the court.
