SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Eight staff and nine adults served by LifeScape have tested positive for the coronavirus.
That’s across the non-profit’s 37 different locations.
“The safety and well-being of our staff and those we serve are our central focus today and always,” said Jessica Wells, president of the LifeScape Foundation. “We continue to enforce strict infection control measures at our all of our locations while following CDC protocols and working directly with The South Dakota Department of Health.”
She says the supported adults have been isolated from others. Wells adds there are no positive cases of children or staff in children’s services.
According to its website, LifeScape is “an independent, non-profit organization, serving adults and children in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Our center in Rapid City provides therapy and psychological services for children on an outpatient and outreach basis.”
