SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
I-229 Interstate and Rice Street Ramp Closure Update
Beginning on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, the I-229 on and off-ramps to Rice Street will be closed in both directions at 8:30 a.m. The City of Sioux Falls Street Department will be milling and overlay along East Rice Street.
This work is anticipated to be completed by 7 p.m., on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closure – North Dakota Avenue
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2020, the left lane of North Dakota Avenue will be closed for a short distance at West Ninth Street.
Telcom Construction will be performing utility work and anticipates a closure duration of one to two days.

Intersection Closure – Cleveland Avenue and Rice Street
Beginning on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, the intersection at North Cleveland Avenue and East Rice Street will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. The City of Sioux Falls Street Department will be milling and overlay along East Rice Street.
This work is anticipated to be completed by 6 p.m., on Thursday, May 14, 2020.
