SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
Sidewalk Closures –
Eighth Street and Reid Street
Beginning on Tuesday morning, June 2, 2020, the sidewalk on the south side of East Eighth Street between the Big Sioux River bridge and Weber Avenue and the sidewalk on the west side of South Reid Street south of Eighth Street will have some isolated closures.
Vikor will be performing small cell installations on light poles.
This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately one week.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closure – Ninth Street
from Phillips Avenue to Main Avenue
Beginning on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, the westbound lane of West North Ninth Street will be closed between Phillips Avenue and Main Avenue to allow crews to perform concrete pavement patching. Westbound traffic will be maintained in the center turn lane.
Local vehicle access will be accommodated whenever possible and at all times to business and parking ramps entrances. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected during construction.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within two weeks…
