SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — If you vote in person today in the Sioux Falls area, you’ll see a number of precautions from the coronavirus at polling places.
KELO.com News visited polling places in Sioux Falls and Harrisburg this morning.
There will separate ways in and out of the polling place.
The poll workers will be behind plexiglass.
You’ll be asked to slide your ID to poll workers who then won’t pick it up to read it.
They’ll slide it back to you.
If you’re given a pen or pencil to mark your ballot, you’ll either keep it or throw it away.
And hand sanitizer and masks will be available.
The polls close in the Central Time Zone in South Dakota at 7 p.m.
