SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service says three record high maximum temp records were broken or tied yesterday.
Sioux Falls, SD: High of 98° broke record of 96° in 1981.
Mitchell, SD: High of 98° broke record of 97° in 1987.
Huron, SD: High of 95° tied record of 95° in 1952.
And the same cities set record high lows:
Sioux Falls, SD: Low of 77° broke record of 71° in 1963, 2004.
Sioux City, IA: Low of 77° broke record of 74° in 1914.
Mitchell, SD: Low of 77° broke record of 72° in 1987.
