SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Of the nearly 3,800 total confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Sioux Falls area only 255 are still active.
Those encouraging numbers are from the Weekly Sioux Falls MSA COVID-19 Update.
So, the trend is looking very good, but city health officials appeal to everyone to still use social distancing and other safety measures. Wash your hands often for a minimum of 20 seconds, cover your cough or sneeze, when appropriate, wear a face mask, and stay home if you feel sick.
The MSA report covers Minnehaha, Lincoln, Turner and McCook Counties.
The City of Sioux Falls has repealed the ordinance requiring restrictions at bars, restaurants and other similar businesses.
