SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.COM) — If you have no plans for the Fourth of July weekend, there are a couple of area events you could attend.
Beginning Friday night the town of Lennox is holding their annual street dance, gates open at 9:00 pm.
Saturday the town of Lennox is holding events all-day beginning at 10:30 in the morning and ending the day at dusk with a fireworks display.
After the Sioux Falls Jaycees canceled their annual fireworks display for the City of Sioux Falls, a couple of area businesses stepped up and planned an event for Saturday evening.
The fireworks display will take place at the Elmwood golf course beginning at 10:15 pm.
Due to COVID-19, all guests are required to stay in their vehicles to watch the show, approved parking for the event are at the following locations Sioux Falls Arena, Denny Sanford PREMIER Center, Howard Wood Field, The Birdcage, Track 2 Trail Arctic Cat, JD Junior Football Field parking lot, and Fleet Farm.
The City of Brookings will host the annual fireworks display at the Swiftel Center.
Due to COVID-19, all Uncle Sam Jam activities have been canceled.
Organizers plan to start the display starting at 10:15 pm Saturday evening.
