SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A pedestrian was injured early Sunday morning after being hit by a vehicle on W. 41st Street, to the west of S. Shirley Avenue.
According to the police report, the pedestrian was crossing midblock without insuring it was safe to cross, and was run into by the vehicle.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is on-going.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: On 7/5/20 at 12:29 AM, Officers of the Sioux Falls Police Department were dispatched to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on W 41st Street, to the west of S Shirley Ave. The crash was reported by the driver of the vehicle.
The investigation on scene showed that the pedestrian was crossing midblock without insuring it was safe to cross, and was run into by the vehicle. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital and is reported to have serious but non-life threatening injuries. Speeding and Impaired driving do not appear to be factors in the crash. The investigation is on-going.
