But there are all kinds of crimes that Officer Sam Clemens or other officers brief the media on.
Here’s a sampling from today’s briefing.
A man hit a woman with a tree branch.
Someone tried to pass a fake $100 bill.
Someone else tried to pass a fake $10 bill.
Someone set a car on fire.
Someone got into a garage, took stuff from the vehicles and the garage, including a shotgun in one of the cars.
And finally, someone stole a new puppy from a resident’s back yard.
