SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police are investigating an early morning accident that killed a 53-year-old Sioux Falls woman.
The accident happened at about 5 a.m. at 6th and Cliff.
Mariah Brooke Hagen, 29, from Sioux Falls, is charged with second-degree manslaughter and reckless driving.

Officer Sam Clemens says she ran a red light and struck the other car. He says the accident was captured on surveillance video. Clemens also says speed is a likely factor in the accident. He says they are awaiting drug and alcohol tests.
The authorities did not release the name of the victim.
Clemens also said that another woman ran into the barricades in the area at about 7:50 a.m., then drove off with the barricade still on her car. She eventually stopped when she ran into a car and tried to run away.
Lydia Berhanu Redda, 18, from Sioux Falls is charged with driving while intoxicated and other counts. Clemens said she had a blood alcohol level of 0.182.
Clemens says the police will do a reconstruction of the first accident.
