SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The 26th annual Heroes Behind the Badges Blood Drive is in full swing.
Donors have the option to vote for either the Sioux Falls Police Department or Sioux Falls Fire Rescue after they donate.
So far, the friendly competition has netted over 500 votes!
While Sioux Falls Fire Rescue has received an impressive 250 votes so far, the Sioux Falls Police Department holds a narrow lead with 258 votes.
Donors are also eligible to receive a number of gifts.
The blood drive runs through January 7th, with the mobile blood bank visiting several more locations around town.
