SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Despite concerns about the new omicron variant of the coronavirus, Sunday’s COVID-19 case rates remain unchanged in South Dakota and the Sioux Falls metro.
That’s according to the New York Times Coronavirus Tracker.
South Dakota is seeing, on average, 403 new cases per day over the last week.
Minnehaha County is experiencing 79 cases per day over the past seven days.
Lincoln County is at 24 cases a day.
Nationally, cases were down 2%.
