SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) – Today, President Joe Biden continued a presidential tradition started by President George H.W. Bush.
The President pardoned two turkeys ahead of Thanksgiving.
The two turkeys, named Peanut Butter and Jelly, were selected from a group of 20 for the special presidential honor.
The turkeys were raised on a farm in St. Anthony, Indiana. The pardoned birds are headed back to Indiana. They be kept at Purdue University-West Lafayette in West Lafayette, Indiana.
