SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — According to a recent study, Augustana University has been ranked as the top-performing school in South Dakota.
The study, conducted by WalletHub, took 30 key metrics and compared more than 1,000 higher-education institutions throughout the country.
They looked at affordability, student to faculty ratio, campus safety, as well as post-graduation median salaries.
Augustana University ranked 180th out of 500 schools.
No other college or university in South Dakota made the top 500.
Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, was ranked 216th in the study.
