SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Two Texas men are in jail after authorities in Sioux Falls seize over 62 pounds of cocaine.
The Sioux Falls Area Drug Task Force discovered that a large shipment of cocaine was being transported to Sioux Falls during an investigation that began in 2020.
A State Trooper conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle in the area of 12th and Kiwanis.
Upon searching the vehicle, authorities recovered a total of 62 pounds of cocaine as well as a loaded handgun.
34-year-old Lennin Robles Parra and 29-year-old Isaias Santos were arrested on numerous drug and firearm charges.
They are currently in the Minnehaha County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
