SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Republican Congressman Dusty Johnson has a primary challenger.
State Representative Taffy Howard from Rapid City announced she’s running against the two-term Congressman Tuesday morning at the Farmer’s Market in Sioux Falls.
If she gets on the ballot, there would be a GOP primary in June.
Howard is a former Air Force officer.
On her campaign website, she writes, “Taffy is running for US Congress to fix election integrity, to fix immigration, and to fix the national debt, among many other issues that are critical to the future of this country.”
