SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) – A field trip to a park turned into a lesson on law and order when the teacher was assaulted.
The teacher and students from a Sioux Falls private school were at Dan Dugan park yesterday when Michael Mukeh Pessima, 22, from Sioux Falls approached the teacher, began making threats, and punched the teacher.
The teacher was able to wrestle Pessima to the ground and held him pinned down until police arrived.
Along with getting an F, Pessima faces the possibility of long detention after being arrested for aggravated assault, obstruction, resisting arrest, and theft
The teacher’s quick actions kept the students safe.
