SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — One man got in lots of fights, another man tried to burn down woody plants, and someone keeps stealing catalytic converters.
The highlights of Thursday’s Sioux Falls Police briefing:
MAN GETS IN MULTIPLE FIGHTS, TRIES TO SPIT ON THE POLICE
A Sioux Falls man faces numerous charges after several altercations with bar patrons, homeless shelter residents, and the police last night (Wednesday).
The first fight started outside a bar, where witnesses say Kenneth John Badheartbull got in a fight with a friend.
Brisbin then went to the Bishop Dudley House and got in fights with several residents there.
Once the police arrived, Brisbin got in a scuffle with them and tried to spit on them.
Brisbin is charged with numerous assault charges and sliming police officers.
ANOTHER MAN TRIES TO BURN WOODY PLANTS
A Sioux Falls man sits in jail for setting trees and bushes on fire.
Sioux Falls Police arrested Daniel Aaron Brisbin, 30, Wednesday night.
Police say he tried to set a tree on fire with a can of gasoline in the 2800 block of South West Lake Drive.
After that, he went into a business and stole the hand sanitizer, and tried to set a bush on fire in the 2500 block of South West Lake Drive.
Brisbin is charged with burglary, reckless burning, and intent to damage property.
CATALYTIC CONVERTER CONFISCATIONS CONTINUES
The catalytic converter thefts continue.
Sioux Falls Police say they’ve received a number of reports, some stretching back to last week.
They say the thefts are spread across the city.
