SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken says “unless you be joggin’, cover that noggin”. The mayor posted on social media this afternoon that the Sioux Falls bike trails are busy this weekend and reminds cyclists to be safe and courteous.
Mayor TenHaken says to practice safe riding on the trails by always wearing a helmet, staying to the right, and announcing when you are passing another cyclist.
TenHaken adds there are hundreds of bike accidents on the trail every year – some minor and some not. Even he had a small crash while out riding today.
