SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sunday is the 21st annual Jam Against Hunger at the Terrace Park band shell in Sioux Falls.
The event is a fundraiser for Feeding South Dakota.
You can also donate non-perishable food items.
Midwest Communications Radio’s very own Mark Cartwright will be performing with The Cartwright Brothers.
Other bands include: G.P.O., Big Red Rawkit Riot, Rich Show, Minority Falls, Geoff Gunderson, and Diablo Sammich.
There will also be six other bands.
The money and pounds of food donated has steadily increased over the history of the event.
In 2003, the concert collected $9 and 401 pounds of food.
Last year, in comparison, the event raised $5,591 dollars and 57,420 pounds of food.
The free event starts at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Organizers say to bring lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, and donations.
