SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Civil Air Patrol’s South Dakota Wing was recognized with three major awards during the organization’s national conference this week.
Colonel Mary Donley, CAP, received the national professional development officer of the year award.
She was selected over region-level award recipients from the seven other CAP regions across the country.
The South Dakota Wing was also awarded two important “mission awards,” the Homeland Defense/Homeland Security and the Aerospace Education mission award.
CAP is the civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force.
