SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sanford Health CEO Bill Gassen says he wants to make quality health care available to people Sanford serves, no matter where they live.
He says a farmer in Ellendale, North Dakota who has cancer has just as much of a right to top-notch cancer care as someone who lives in a big city.
Gassen replaced long-time CEO Kelby Krabbenhoft last November in the 46-hospital system based in Sioux Falls.
Gassen made his comments to Becker’s Hospital Review.
