SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — That darned smoke just won’t leave the KELO Radio listening area!
Most of the KELO Radio listening area is under a Special Weather Statement from the National Weather Service:
Wildfire smoke continues to linger across the area. While some improvement in air quality is expected this afternoon, air quality is expected to worsen this evening into Tuesday morning. Due to the poor air quality, sensitive groups, such as people with lung disease (including asthma), heart disease, and children and older adults, should avoid prolonged or heavy exertion. The general public should also limit prolonged or heavy exertion.
Unlike last week, however, temperatures should not get near the century mark this week like they did last week.
