RAPID CITY, S.D. (KELO.com) — As the summer continues to heat up, and kids are enjoying their break, there are summertime concerns for the youngest in our communities.
Dr. Cara Hamilton with Black Hills Pediatrics says it all starts when your child is an infant.
Hamilton recommends a quick check on the kids to gauge their heat levels.
Hamilton says it doesn’t stop once your kid gets older, too.
Temperatures in the Black Hills are projected to remain in the 80’s and 90’s for the coming week. In the Sioux Falls area, high temperatures next week are expected to range from the low 70s to the high 80s.
