SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — It’s First Responder Appreciation Day at the Great Plains Zoo and Delbridge Museum of Natural History on the 4th of July. As a way of saying thank you to all firefighters, police officers, doctors, nurses, and emt’s, the Great Plains Zoo is giving first responders half off admission on the 4th. First Responders just need to present a valid id at the admission window on Sunday to receive the half price discount.
The zoo is open from nine until five. The window closes at four.
