SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe is set to open the states first medical cannabis dispensary on July 1st, according to the Tribe.
The Tribe will be issuing medical cards for customers that meet certain medical requirements.
The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe has been active in tribal cannabis since 2015 and has a state-of-the-art cultivation facility that it has resumed cannabis cultivation in after the legalization of marijuana in South Dakota.
