Vermillion, S.D. (KELO.com) — Six USD Coyotes, four alumni and two recent graduates, will take the stage at the U.S. Olympic Trials being held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. The top three finishers in each event will represent Team USA at the postponed 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Parker, S.D. graduate Zach Anderson will compete in the high jump. Benjamin Hammer, a Dell Rapids, S.D. graduate, will be working to gain a spot in discuss. This season marks the most combined athletes and alumni that South Dakota will send to the Olympic Trials in recent memory.
