SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Sioux Falls Area Humane Society is now open for in-person pet adoptions.
The shelter went to virtual and low touch adoptions because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The society says you still must apply for an animal before you may enter the building.
However, they say those interested in cats may come into the building and spend 20 minutes with the animals before adoption.
Curbside adoption is still available, but you must ask for it.
Below is their announcement on Facebook.
