SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Lawn watering restrictions go into effect Wednesday in the city of Tea.
From June 9 through October 1 no watering is allowed between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Watering at other times is restricted by day. People whose house numbers end with an odd number can water on odd-numbered days; people whose house numbers end in an even number can water on even-numbered days.
There are exceptions for new lawns and sod, but those permits come with a fee: $100 for one week or $150 for two weeks.
