SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A 40-year-old man was arrested after burglarizing three businesses earlier this week. The businesses are:
- Wing Stop near 27th Street and Minnesota Avenue
- Famous Dave’s near 35th Street and Minnesota Avenue
- Great Clips at 41st Street and Holly Avenue.
Wing Stop was burglarized early Sunday morning, May 23. Both Famous Dave’s and Great Clips were burglarized early Monday morning, May 24. Entry was made after glass doors were broken on all three businesses.
It was discovered the suspect left behind a cell phone at the first business. As detectives investigated the burglaries, a suspect was developed. This suspect appeared to match surveillance video from Famous Dave’s. On Wednesday morning, May 26, detectives found the suspect at his home in the 200 block of West 14th Street. After a search of the home, clothing was found that matched the Famous Dave’s burglary and small amounts of methamphetamine and marijuana were seized.
The suspect, Daniel Jordan Ulrich, 40-year-old Sioux Falls resident, was arrested for three counts of Burglary 3rd Degree, Intentional Damage to Property, Petty Theft, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Inhabiting a Room Where Drugs Are Kept.
