SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — It was a relatively slow weekend on the police beat in Sioux Falls.
Here are the highlights from Tuesday’s Sioux Falls Police briefing.
DRUNK MOTHER ARRESTED
A 19-year-old mother who Sioux Falls Police say was intoxicated while wandering with her five-year-old and eight-month-old is charged with child endangerment counts.
Teanna Rose Quinn, 19, was arrested Monday evening in the 6900 block of West 5th Place.
Police say a citizen and a family member tried to assist her.
Quinn is charged with two counts of abuse of a child under seven and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The children were unharmed.
ONCE MORE YET GAIN CATALYTIC CONVERTER THEFTS
Sioux Falls Police are investigating more reports of catalytic converter thefts.
There were three new reports, two from over the weekend.
The thefts were in various parts of town.
