SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — In a tweet, the Sioux Falls National Weather Service says they want you to think before you burn.
Much of the KELO Radio listening area continues to be under a Special Weather Statement or a Red Flag Alert.
A Red Flag Alert means that the conditions exist or will exist for possible grassland or wildland fires.

With dry vegetation in place and occasionally breezy conditions expected over the next few days, keep fire safety in mind! This includes being mindful of any planned burns you may have and delaying them if needed. pic.twitter.com/hae2s6qO2k
