SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – The City of Sioux Falls issued a snow alert early Monday morning. Plowing in Zone 3 will begin once all emergency routes are complete. Zone 2 plowing of east and west streets has begun, but north and south streets will begin on Tuesday morning.
Zone 1 snow pickup operations will begin early Wednesday morning.
As a reminder any vehicle parked on the streets during snow removal will be ticketed and towed.
Property owners are also reminded that the City of Sioux Falls requires all public sidewalks to be cleared of snow and ice within 48 hours after each storm.
