SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
Emergency Lane Closure – South Louise Avenue
Effective immediately, both northbound through lanes and the northbound left-turn lane of South Louise Avenue are closed at the traffic signal for the Louise Avenue Walmart. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction in the southbound lanes.
First Rate Excavate will be repairing a private water main and anticipates re-opening the northbound lanes to traffic the morning of Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closure – Minnesota Avenue
Beginning on Wednesday morning, March 3, 2021, the outside northbound through lane on South Minnesota Avenue will be closed just south of West 14th Street to West 13th Street. This work is expected to be done by Wednesday evening.
Henry Carlson Co will be removing the concrete barriers in front of the First Premier Building.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
