SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police are investigating the shooting of a 14-year-old girl in the leg yesterday (Monday).
The incident occurred in an apartment in the 600 block of North Cleveland Avenue.
The girl says it was an accidental shooting, but police say she isn’t saying a lot.
Friends took her to the hospital.
Police say they’re trying to identify everyone who was in the apartment.
They also have not yet recovered the firearm involved in the shooting.
