SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police are looking for a man who robbed an east side casino at gunpoint early Tuesday morning. The incident happened near East Rice Street and North Highland Avenue.
Sgt. Robert Forster says the robber “piggybacked” his way into the casino when another patron buzzed in.
The robber grabbed an employee by the arm and told the customers to be quiet. The robber absconded with an undisclosed amount of cash.
If you live in the neighborhood and have surveillance video, the police would like to see it.
Also, Sioux Falls Police received a report of several gunshots to the west of the Law Enforcement Center around 4 o’clock this morning.
Night shift officers flooded the area of Macellen and Spring Avenues and no evidence of gunshots was found. No other calls were received concerning gunshots.
