SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — On Friday, Dec 25th at approximately 12:25 p.m., Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire at 917 W. 36th St.
First arriving crews found the main level of the home involved with heavy smoke and fire.
Initial reports were that all members of the home were accounted for, and one dog still inside.
Fire crews knocked the main body of the fire down.
Attempts to revive the dog were unsuccessful.
The fire is still under investigation.
