Key figure in SD drug ring headed to prison

RAPID CITY, SD (KELO.com) — U-S Attorney Ron Parsons says a key player in a major South Dakota drug ring is going to prison for 19 years.  Shauntel Shangreaux distributed fentanyl and meth throughout the Rapid City area and on the Pine Ridge Reservation.  Parsons says her case was part of Operation Take Back America, an effort to take down cartels.
