PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota lawmakers will be looking for ways to fund emergency ambulance service. Governor Rhoden has signed a bill to create a task force to study the problem. There’s a severe shortage of Emergency Medical Technicians in rural areas. Officials also say some ambulance companies lose money on every call.
