Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken.
SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Eight years of challenges and accomplishments. Sioux Falls Mayor Paul Tenhaken has delivered his final ‘State of the City’ address, marking major difficulties and victories of his time in office. He says he won’t be able to lead the charge as Mayor, but is excited about the opportunities that are developing in the downtown area. “The Riverline District brings more opportunities when we’re considering the overall redevelopment of the existing Smithfield site when that time comes up. So, bottom line, the opportunities for redevelopment in our downtown are very, very bright in the decade ahead.” Mayor TenHaken will be leaving the office later this year, as he reaches the end of his term limit.
