SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls police say a missing 14-year old girl has been found deceased. McKenna Wendel was last seen Saturday, and was the subject of search efforts that increased in intensity with each passing day. The search involved the Sioux Falls Police Department and “many other resources from the region.” Officials say they are working to piece together what happened to McKenna, but are not seeking help in locating anyone else related to the case. Police also say they do not believe the public is in any danger. They will not release any additional information on the case until Monday’s regular media briefing.
