Mayor pleased with Tribal Summit at City Hall

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Mayor Paul TenHaken calls it one of the more powerful meetings he’s had since being in office.  He invited the Chairmen and leaders of the state’s Native American tribes to discuss care, support and understanding of Native Americans living in the city.  In a post to his Facebook page, the Mayor said seven of the state’s nine tribes attended the summit at City Hall.
